  • Older travelers

The bedroom, No 303, had been recently updated and the look was very good. It also had a small table, 2 chairs, and a welcome tray. There was a bar and restaurant on site, and free parking.

Although the bedroom had been updated there was some minor finish problems. Ie it lacked any towel rails.

  • Older travelers

Good location at heart of village. Pleasant staff.

Room was a bit noisy - close to a road. Central heating didn't come on early enough in the evening

  • Family with children

the dinner was excellent.would eat there even if not staying at hotel. location good for walks golf fishing etc

  • Group of friends

Do not stay in this hotel - I have never come across a similar set of couldn't-care-less staff with zero interest in their guests. No one is in charge. Customer service is poorly handled. Cushendall is lovely. Suggest you look for a nice b&b instead.

  • Older travelers

Very goog but front rooms was to noisy at night

  • Older travelers

Very welcoming, friendly atmosphere. Rooms basic but clean with a comfortable bed.

    Street noise until 4.00am

  • Older travelers

The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The location was close to the beach, golf course and marina.

    1. The hotel lost our booking. 2. The first room given to us was poor; bed was uncomfortable, room situated over kitchens with vents and air conditioning outside our window, noise of kitchen staff and equipment was very disturbing. 3. Moved to an acceptable room at front of building but a lot of traffic noise.

  • Couple

The fact that the stay ended!

The price-Way over priced Damp and condensation in the bedroom Rude staff The fact that there was no TV remote The single glazed windows which meant we could hear every noise from outside The food was very average

  • Older travelers

staff and owner martin very pleasent and helpful, food very good excellent, good service, well priced.will be back again.

  • Older travelers

Poor quality of fit-out. Rotting single glazed wooden windows in bedroom which would not close properly allowing disturbing traffic noise at all hours. Condensation running down the inside of the windows. Bed which had uncomfortable springs. This is a budget hotel and not worth the £85 b&b cost and is over rated.

  • Older travelers

Quaint hotel in a beautiful town. Staff was very friendly and the rooms were basic and clean.

  • Family with children

The staff were so friendly and so nice and helpfull..They would have done anything for us..The town of Cushendall is a sweet and friendly place to stay.. The people of Cushendall were the nicest we ever met....

Well the room was very disappointing we got a look at the other rooms and they were much nicer..and they had a double bed and a single bed which we would have prefered...we had 3 single beds, for myself my husband and my teenage son, a bathroom door that did not close and a room door that needed a good strong shove or pull to open..a bit like fawlty towers...

  • Couple

Unbelievably welcoming! Excellent service, very friendly staff. Very good diner at the restaurant, very quiet night. A place to recommend and where we will go again.

  • Family with children

It was a very friendly child oriented hotel. We were always smiled at by staff and were given fresh towels every day. I could not fault the staff at all. The food was excellent and well priced.

The room to me was a bit of a let down . There was no where to boil a kettle. The family room that I stayed in was clean enough but in the adjoining room with the kids bed I thought it was thrown together as in that room was a big piece of ply wood covering an old doorway . The main room was noisy as all you could hear was a door banging closed all day and late into the night as we seemed to be over the kitchen. The music that went on til 1 or 2 was loud in that room as well . I did enjoy my stay though. Wall sockets weren't plastered in properly.

Location was good, which is what I obviously paid for, as I have stayed in other hotels around Ireland for the same price with better facilities.

I was in a !st floor room facing onto the main road. The room was compact. The wooden windows did not shut properly so I fell asleep listening to the racing cars until the early hours of the morning. When there was no traffic I could listen to the conversations of passerby'S. Ensuite shower room was so small that I had to walk out backwards as I couldn't turn. I had to put the kettle on the floor as the lead was so short. I was annoyed that I had to pay a deposit of £10.00 for the remote control to operate the television. I should have stayed there 3 days but cut it down to 2. I had 1 evening meal there which was poorly presented, and nothing to write home about.
